Agreement on the Protection of Data Privacy

My entire portfolio of services is intended for business partners only and I take privacy very seriously when doing business. I will only save such personal data as you provide voluntarily. 

 

Purpose and Scope of Data Processing

My objective is to apply the highest possible degree of security when handling your data. Processing of your data shall be subject to the legal regulations including but not limited to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the local applicable legislation on data protection of the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Only such personal data as is necessary for the rendering and performance of my services will be processed (including but not limited to the collection and storage of data). On a general basis, this shall include your surname, first name, address, phone number, email address, order content and volume or contracted services only.

 

Disclosure to Third Parties

Your data will not be disclosed to any third party without your explicit consent to any such disclosure, legal obligation to disclose said data or the necessity to disclose said data for contract implementation. This shall include in particular:

  • disclosure to our accounting service and/or tax consultant in order to fulfill our fiscal obligations;

 

Data Storage Periods and Deletion of Data

The data stored for the implementation and rendering of services shall be stored in compliance with the relevant statutory retention periods. These periods shall be extended only if necessary for our services.

The data record will be marked as inactive and will no longer be used upon termination of the relevant contract. The data will be irrevocably deleted or blocked upon expiry of the statutory retention periods.

 

My Website

As a general rule, my website may be used without providing any personal data. Any personal data potentially collected on my sites (such as name, address or email address) shall be submitted strictly voluntarily wherever feasible. This applies for the contents of the free text field in our contact form as well.

Be advised that online data transfer (e.g. in email conversations) may have security gaps. Flawless data protection against third-party access is not feasible.

User Data Collection, Processing and Usage (LOG Data)

The web servers for my website save every access to the website in a log file. The following data (a.k.a. log data), which are automatically sent by your computer when accessing my website, will be collected and saved:

  • Access date and time
  • IP address of the inbound PC
  • Name and URL of the outbound data
  • Access status (file transferred, file not found etc.)
  • Web browser and OS used
  • Transferred data volume

This information is used to analyze and maintain the technical functions of the web server as well as to combat abuse and will be deleted automatically after a period of 3 months. 

 

Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files which your browser saves on your end device. They are harmless.

These cookies are used to optimize the contents of my website and make them more user-friendly. Some cookies will remain on your end device until you delete them. Cookies allow us to recognize your browser during your next visit to our website.

If you object this, you may set your browser to inform you as to any cookies being set and you can allow or refuse cookies on an individual basis. Deactivating cookies may limit the functions on our website.

 

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore you can prevent Google’s collection and use of cookie-generated data (incl. IP address) related to the website as well as Google’s processing such data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Please note that the Google Analytics code on this website has been supplemented by “gat._anonymizeIp();” in order to ensure the anonymized collection of IP addresses (also known as IP masking).

 

Google reCAPTCHA

We use Google’s (Google Inc.) reCAPTCHA service to protect your inquiries via online forms. This query allows us to determine whether an entry was made by an actual person or whether it is an improper automated bot-controlled entry. The query will also forward your IP address to Google as well as further data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service. The data you have entered will be forwarded to and further used by Google for this purpose. Google will truncate your IP address for Member States of the European Union or for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of this service. Google will not associate your IP address submitted for your browser by reCAPTCHA with any other data held by Google. Such data will be subject to deviating Google data privacy terms. Right to Information, Revocation and Deletion of Data 

You are entitled to receive information as to your data stored with me upon inquiry at no charge. You are also entitled to receive any data directly rendered by you.

You are furthermore entitled to have incorrect or incomplete data corrected, to have your data blocked and to have your data deleted - unless data storage is a statutory stipulation. 

It may be necessary to validate your identity in order to process your request.

You may modify or withdraw potentially given approvals at any time by a message to us valid for the future.

This service is free of charge for you with the exception of postal fees or transmission costs.
